“Jim, pull over,” Joyce shouted as if Jim was away in a field and not at the wheel beside her.
Jim ignored her and drove on.
“Turn around, turn around,” she demanded, grown aggressively agitated.
Jim sighed. “I’ll turn if and when I find a place for turning. These country roads aren’t made for driving. And what’s the fuss with you anyway?”
“That sign back there… didn’t you see it?”
“Sure, there’s a stately house up ahead.”
“No. PROPER milk. We haven’t had proper milk since the Greys landed and did those foul things to the cows.”

Seen bold like that, it does make you wonder. But apparently, I’ve just found out, it probably means unpasteurised. Which is only legal if sold direct to the customer

I am surprised you’ve not come across this. But I’m far too ladylike to explain, merely that a section of those Ufologists who claim alien visitations claim said visitors… always the Greys… have been *tempering* with the cows. Cows note, not the bulls. You have permission for your mind to boggle. But you might also note, to my knowledge, this is happening only in the States. I’ve not seen reports for the UK

Sigh. Name a modern form of weirdness, and the U.S. seems to have it. Somehow, I doubt U.S. cows were bred to be aesthetically pleasing to aliens, but maybe it was inadvertent.

Judging by the reactions here, I’m beginning to think UK *journalists* have set the phenomenon in the States cos… (sorry about this) if it’s crazy, it comes from the States 🙂

Our own domestic version of this is that if it’s weird, it comes from California . . . unless it’s weird and backwards, in which case it comes from Florida.

Are you straight up? I’m country bred, yet I didn’t know what it was till a few minutes ago when I googled unpastuerised milk. Mainly, because I didn’t realise it was legal.

Direct to the public, i.e. from a farm shop. And that’s what this was. And in England. Don’t know about elsewhere.

I still don’t know what the Grey’s did but I’m not sure I want to 😊 Anyways a great take on your prompt! I’m supposed to be lactose intolerant, according to blood test I had. But I do love milk!

No, Jen, you DO NOT want to know. It’s not nice. It’s the product of someone’s sick mind.
And chances are the reason love milk is becaue of the intolerance. I was like that with bread. Because of the gluten.

What indeed. I didn’t know until earlier today with Joanna asked if this meant unpastuerised milk. I didn’t think it was legal to sell, but in England, yes it is, but it must be direct to the customer, thus at a farm shop.

Due to A1 protein Casein etc raising cholesterol levels I went to Goat Milk awhile back and it helped a lot as it has many benefits including only A2 protein. But , now we have a company which offers A2 milk from cows which naturally produce only that…so that’s what I put in my coffee these days. The Goat Milk people priced me out. So I am not even sure what proper milk is…but as long as its unadulterated out of the cow, goat, sheep etc then I guess that is proper.

Personally, I don’t have milk of any kind. Except in the form of yoghurt, butter and cream

Are “The Greys” an English UFO legend?

Until this past week, I’d have answered No, they’re American. But I’m now thinking the idea of the Greys are a UK construct that have been projected onto the American Abduction Cult. There are, supposedly, two kinds of aliens. The Greys, who are short and grey skinned, with the absent nose and big eyes, and a taller race, fair of face. Which to me aligns perfectly with the Celtic fae abduction stories. You work it out 🙂

Haha, I’ve never heard of either. I think our “greys” are usually green, and their favorite things to abduct are cows.

I guess the Greys are sometimes seen as the Greens. Although for me the Greens are a different thing. And it’s not abduction but examination… with damage. As a female, I squirm at the thought. Doesn’t matter that it’s not really happening; it’s featuring in someone’s imagination. Gross.
