Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
A harbor crammed full with boats of all kinds – one of my favorite places to stroll in the early evening. https://youcantrusthim.com/2019/06/19/gone-fishing/

I meant really been there. No way I could have been there, but it’s familiar feeling.

Now I get you. Perhaps it’s the arrangement of the boats and the tree? Small keys that says this is familiar.

Interesting photo. I can see the water level’s down a lot! Is it early or late in the season? I can’t tell by the tree. So many questions! 😏😊

It’s low tide.
This is Oulton Broad, and it has direct connection to the sea. Therefore it is tidal.

Oh. I’m an inland Broad I can only see a lake.

It’s the only broad that connects directly to the sea. It’s real name is Lake Lothing. Until a canal was cut to join it to the River Waveney, it was just an inlet.

It’s brilliant. Not only clever, but very very funny… for those of us who like double entendres and innuendoes… and I’m sure that’s not only Brits (it’s a national quirk)

Love your take. Apart from the need for the sister to die to spark the move, it was lovely lilting tale 🙂

I don’t know that I’d say the sister ‘needed’ to die to spark the move … but who knows … sometimes there are unexpected catalysts …
