Aptly named. They look almost like they are turned inside out.

I was thinking more of wide-brimmed hats with tattered veils hanging down. Either way, they look sad, and grim.

At this stage of their life, I doubt they’re appetising. Yet when wearing their shaggy tops… apparantly so.

While I much prefer the fresh specimens, complete with shaggy hats, I have to say, these do have a certain elegance. I’m kinda reminded of the Ascot scene in My Fair Lady.

Interesting. It looks like s sort of blue dye on them. Could you dye things with them?
