It’s the season. It can’t be helped. Let me loose along the green lanes with a camera and I’m bound to find some fungi. Even if they are Hidden.

Perfect parasols. Are those blackberry brambles surrounding it?

They are indeed. There were still some brackberries around. Found one bush with perfectly red and perfectly black side by side. Usually they grade into ripeness.
It was a day of parasols and dapperlings and the occasional fly agaric. Like, every five steps or so. Took us ages to cover the distance, and almost all of them excellent specimens. I’v never seen so many in one day, in once area.

I wasn’t sure the I was going to capture it. It certainly wouldn’t function for any other title. But Hidden? Yep, it’s that.

I’ve no problem with it. Everything on my site is copyrighted. Everything. The only reason I mark the ones used for CCC is that is they’ll appear on other folks sites. Besides which, someone wants to use my photos fine. If the quality was such that I could put out to the stock photos, that would be different. But have you seen how small these photos are? The originals are A3 and A4, but these… much reduced
