In Amongst the Brambles

It’s the season. It can’t be helped. Let me loose along the green lanes with a camera and I’m bound to find some fungi. Even if they are Hidden.

Hidden amongst the brambles: 15th Oct 2019

And here’s one that was growing nearby.

Arguably the best Parasol I’ve found in several years: 15th Oct 2019

Perfect parasols. Are those blackberry brambles surrounding it?

    • They are indeed. There were still some brackberries around. Found one bush with perfectly red and perfectly black side by side. Usually they grade into ripeness.
It was a day of parasols and dapperlings and the occasional fly agaric. Like, every five steps or so. Took us ages to cover the distance, and almost all of them excellent specimens. I’v never seen so many in one day, in once area.

Great photo Crispina! Congrats on the find! Someone would probably be envious of you. Get it signed quick! I’d hate to find it on BING in the free to use category unsigned.
