And the title I’ve chosen this week for the #2019picoftheweek challenge is… FEET
I swear the swans at Whitlingham enjoy having their photos taken. This one patiently posed. But he didn’t realise I was after his feet.

That is quite the adorable pose isn’t it! Nicely done Crispina! 😀 ❤

Swan’s are so graceful. I didn’t realize before this that they had such big feet. A great stabilizer I guess. It sure is eyeing you though. Great shot! A perfect choice for the prompt Crispina 🙂

Oh I knew. And I was hoping to get the shot. But I didn’t expect the swan to be so obliging.

I guess the swan liked you. Ya think?

I think it thought I had some biccies. Notices everywhere say don’t feed the birds, these are wild birds. But, by their behaviour I’d say lots of folks ignore that

maybe. I guess they’ve gotten used to it in their travels.

So very nice of him to stand still for you!
Lovely pic, Crispina.

He pulled several poses. In one he stretched out his neck almost flat along the grass. Weird pose. Made his neck more resemble an elephant’s trunk. 🙂

I love this! He’s struck such a pose… worthy of the red carpet. And those feet are truly amazing. 🙂

I kept looking at the prompt. And then I saw the swans and…. There were ducks and geese too, but those swans really do have fantastic feet

I find it really hard to capture birds in camera! The bird’s pose is great and your picture is great as well.

It’s only these big birds I can manage. Small birds flit away too soon.

I have trouble with all birds 😅 they are constantly moving. But some little birds are really beautiful

So are some ducks. Wonderful colours in their plumage

Surely! I love collecting feathers.

The humble crow sports feathers incredibly irridescent. Though ask anyone and they’d say the crow is black

I have collected a lot of crow feathers and they do shine in sunlight. In my school, once I saw an albino crow and it was really a rare sight. I wish I could get a feather from it. 😅
