CCC47: Mellow Yellow

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #47

Red light slipping into yellow
Tones everything it touches mellow
Through the windowpane, it peeps
O’er the windowsill, it creeps
A welcome in the room it fills
Contrasts with the seeping chills
That this autumnal time of year does bring

  8. Lovely Crispina! I love the way the light becomes a living thing, peeping and creeping.

  9. Your poem describes autumn so well, my favourite season. Where I live, though, there are no red and yellow hues in the trees. Most are evergreen. But when some tiny brown leaves fall with a breeze, they look beautiful. Have you seen autumn Cherry blossom? They look stunning.
