One of the titles for #2019picoftheweek challenge is My Favourite Things. Nine months now I’ve been pondering on this. When the answer was there all the time.
The wide blue sky. Trees in full leaf offering shade. And a slow running river, its surface smooth as a mirror.

I had thought of all kind of possessions before I hit on that. And it was literally staring me in the face, since it was part of the slideshow that forms my laptop’s desktop
And again, we agree, as on many things

Often times I have found it difficult to see what is right in front of me! And yes we do agree on many things! 😀 ❤

On this occasion… I have to agree. Isn’t it divine. Yet to point the camera upwards… it wouldn’t be anything like as magical.

Thanks. I pondered on this for a long while before posting. Does it qualify. Concensus of opinion says Yes. Oh good. 🙂

After a day of messing around with WP and unnecessary stress I found this. The day has just flown by and suddenly I see this link. Almost 7pm here and the evening is closing in. Somehow I’m lost for words, once again. Relaxing and serene I think. Yes, Serene ……..😌

Happy it works for you, Jen. And that you found it in the end.

It’s on my desktop, in a slideshow. And whenever it appears I just stop and gaze until it again disappears. Sigh.

Such a beautiful picture, as well.

Thanks, Dale. I think it’s the blue sky reflected, much darker in the water, that does it. Who can deny the beauty of tranquil water

Excellent picture ❤️ Sadly we don’t find much rivers or lakes that are mirrors for all of them here are dumping ground for wastes. It’s deeply concerning

We do have some similar. But not where I live. It’s a really rural area. What industry we have is small scale, and what’s called *light*. So as long as the farmers don’t go heavy on artifical fertilisers, our rivers remain in good condition.
