Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.

I”ve been slipping on your prompts lately, but I do love trains…..

And I might have enough photos of trains to give you at least a month’s worth. Though I do try to vary them.

It looks so much like a toy train, with those colors, that I’m tempted to say, “Honey, I Shrunk the Train!”

And I’m tempted to thank you for my laugh this morning. It fair spluttered out of me. Thank you.

I thank you, Michael. And yes, I’ve read it, and I’ve left me little comment, but I’ll repeat here that I like it. 🙂

Michael, there is something wrong with the links provided as neither will allow me to comment. The box is there, but the post comment button is not? Delightful read either way. Thanks for taking me along!!

Let’s hope that soon resolves. I have noticed similar at odd times with various blogs. A problem that comes and goes and for which I’m inclined to blame our dear hosts, WP.

A good take on it, J. But I couldn’t resist quite a long comment.

An interesting prompt, this one. I had to engage my little grey cells to find a way to make it work in Lyr’s story… Thanks for the challenge, Crispina 🙂
