Welcome to my weekly challenge—open to all—just for FUN, FUN, FUN
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
If you tag it #CCC others should be able to find it by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)
Here’s wishing you inspirational explosions. And FUN.
Details of the photo are given, if relevant, below this line

Hi Crispina, my thoughts this week

First thing I did when I came home, quarter hour ago or so, was to check out your story. And I liked. And I left a very short comment, cos basically, I’ve walked my feet to stubs today, and I’m tired.

OH! A photo hunter. Cool! I wish I had a camera. One day I’ll actually get an iPhone.

I started off with a phone-camera … if I was walking, i may as well be taking photos. Fine, till it came to taking photos of fungi on dark woodland floor. So I invested in a decent camera. Now the camera always comes with me. I’m not sure whether I walk for the sheer joy of wlking, of for the delight in taking the photos.
With few exceptions, the photos on my blog are my own work. How to tell wich are mione, and which are anothers? I alwats credit the photographer if it isn’t me.

I suspect it’s the adventure. Gotta get that special SHOT lol Beautiful shots too. Your name should be on your own. I’ve been wanting a camera for sometime. Maybe this is the time. Yet another inspiration! Thanks

If I have served as inspiration, in any way, I am happy.
I do put my name on the photos I post form Crimson’s Creatice Challenge, because this will then be used on other blogs. But since everything on my site is covered y copyright, I don’t bother to add more.
My photo uploads are always small (1200 pixels x 800) that not enough to interest anyone who wanted to profit from my work.

LOVE this little cottage, can I move in? 🙂 ❤

Yea, I’d like to live there too., except maybe it’s a little bit too public. It’s set along the main village street, and that village attracts quite a few visitors being surrounded by a tangle of green leafy walking routes, and awarded an Village of Oustanding Beauty award.

Oh yes, that wouldn’t be good…it IS so very attractive.

Isn’t just. You should see the entire village. Thatch almost everywhere. Abd a great place to walk the leafy lanes. 🙂

Go to Google Maps. Saxlingham Nethergate, Norfolk, England. And take it down to street level. Go look around. You’ll find it an enchanting place. 🙂

That was brilliant, Violet. Though sequins and heels, in the beautiful village of Saxlingham? I can imagine the community commitee abuzz with that. Though, i suppose, so long as they kept the windows clean, and the grass mown …. 🙂
[My apologies to anyone Saxlingham-ians who might read this; I’ve always found you a friendly lot!]

I’d like to see them move in and set the city on its ear! My guess is they would become enamored with this pair way before the house needed another coat of paint.

Yea, and that’s possible. Though it’s not a city, it’s a small village, the sort where everyone knows everyone else. I walk through with my camera; everyone knows. I chat to one oldster, mention my grandpa who lived the second half of his very long life in the next village, and within the hour, I’m not an outsider and everyone knows what I’m doing there. Lo! Such is the village.

I smile … reading this the next day. But I have found if I skimp on sleep my body skimps on energy. And today was an up-and-down hills day. And suddenly hot.

Sleep is most necessary. We can’t deal without it!

Indeed not. Though I used to. My GP more than once nagged me about burning the candle both ends. He said that wasn’t so bad, it was when I did it in the middle as well! And so, predictable I should end up with CFS. Now, while recovered from that for coming on 4 years, I fear a return.
