      I thank you.
What amazes me is how delicate the primrose and violet when compared with our garden varieties, yet here they must content with what in a garden would be yanked out as weeds, and then there are dogs and walkers and chldren … how do they survive?

Yes. This is the secret of nature. I have seen exquisite and tender flowers existing and blooming in the harsh weather outside but I feel everything is in a balance so that they do not get harmed.

I also think it has to do with pampering. We pamper our garden plants. Giants compared to those in the wild, yet made weal by our over-protection. And that might be applied to we humans too.

Such pretty flowers, how cheerful! That reminds me that I haven’t seen violets in forever. We used to have them everywhere when I was growing up in Michigan, but now most years I only go back there for Christmas. Thanks for the vicarious glimpse!

More glimpses to come. This spot has taken over from the Sunday Fungi, at least for a while.
My intention at outset was to post just the one photo, same as with the fungi. But I couldn’t decide wheich of these four was the greater epitome of spring.
