Every Wednesday I post a photo (this week it’s that one above.)
You respond with something CREATIVE
Here are some suggestions:
- An answering photo
- A cartoon
- A joke
- A caption
- An anecdote
- A short story (flash fiction)
- A poem
- A newly minted proverb, adage or saying
- An essay
- A song—the lyrics or the performance
You have plenty of scope, and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
If you tag it #CCC others should be able to find it by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)

Beautiful photo, Crispina! You wouldn’t believe it, but this photo was harder to tie into my flash fiction serial than any other photo so far. I think I managed though – just lol 🙂

I could provide so many photos that tie to the sea, or at least to water. But that could soon become stale.

And I do like to give you a challenge. I haven’t chosen next week’s yet, but it could be one of three I dallied over for this week. And of course, I’m not going to pick the one that most fits your story. You’re going to work for it, damn it, work! 🙂

No time limit set. I post the prompt on Wednesays, and most people post their response before the next out is out. But no one is holding anyone to that. The idea is to enjoy.

I thank you. Taken 2 years back on 14th February. Despite early frost, and lingering mists it turned out to be an amazingly warm day. I was down to tshirt by the time I caught the bus home.
