You have plenty of scope, and only two criteria:
- Your creative offering is indeed yours
- Your writing is kept to 150 words or less
If you post a link in the comments section of this post I’ll be able to find it
If you include Crimson’s Creative Challenge as a heading, WP Search will find it (theory)
If you tag it #CCC others should be able to find it by ‘Searching’ in the WP Reader (fingers crossed)

I used to live by the sea while I was at uni. Thoroughly miss it now, which is probably why I like to write about it so much 🙂

Straining brain. Which uni isby the sea? Brighton comes to mind. And Portsmouth (or should that be Southhampton?) Oh, Exeter, I suppose. But I’m lost when it comes to the northern unis.

Welsh uni. I was at Aberystwyth for three wonderful years. To be honest, it was such a beautiful place to live, it’s ruined me for almost anywhere else LOL 🙂

Lucky you. I forewent uni to go to art school. Lots of reasons and excuses, but prime is that I wanted to read Celtic History, but I hadn’t the required languages, and at the time there weren’t many places that offered it. St David;s (is that Cardiff?), Edinburgh, and Trinity at Dublin. I would have loved to go Dublin but … art (graphic design) was an easier option.
Yea, I can imagine that was an awful wrench. So what was your subject? I’m guessing it was some form of history. Or was it Welsh Studies?

St David’s…hmm, could be Lampeter. I agree Celtic History would have been amazing, as would ancient history – any history in fact, as long as it’s not too recent. However, I took neither G.C.S.E. or A Level history – the curriculum didn’t interest me at all, which made taking the subject later difficult. No my degree was in Geography – the physical, scientific kind rather than human / social geography, which has always been an obsession of mine. I love landscape evolution, natural spaces and rocks and minerals, so it worked out well. Dublin would have been a wonderful city to study in, Edinburgh too. And art school, a bohemian, then? Very cool

Ambition, for the day I discovered the word, to live a Bohemian lifestyle. Though at the time I didn’t really understand it. But, yep, you could describe my life as that. AKA, sex, drugs and rock-n-roll. But as far as that goes, I am now in retirement. 🙂
And physical geography; that does interest me.

Yep, I’m fine, but thianks for your concern. I buried my head in writing, yesterday, didn’t spend so much time as usual on blogs and posts. I have a self-imposed deadline, towering like a big blank wall. I needed to devour some of that height, lighten its mass. 🙂

I’ve made it easy to participate; no need to write scintilating fiction, a quick quip is all that’s required.
While some of the participants leave a link in the comments on my posts, all entries can be sourced by typing *Crimsson’ Creative Challenge* in the Reader’s Search box. They’re just not in date order. It’s interesting though: this entire cascade of posts?
