Multi-car Pile-up

Not my usual subject when out with the camera, but these cars awaiting scrapage called loudly to me.

I’m not sure whether it was a scrape yard, or a car dealership and these were the cars taken in part-exchange for the new models. As you can see, it was the other side of the river and only a blank wall offering no clues. But for me, it was either this or farm machinery to fulfil the transportation title. Oh, or train rails.

You don’t often see cars piggy-backing like that, how interesting. I especially like the contrast with the natural world so close by, as I would expect to see this in a bleak dump in the middle of a dusty field.

Between the cars themselves and the reflections… lots of bodies!
    Great pic

They are so shiny, they don’t look like scrapage at all, but maybe their frames aren’t stable any longer. Piled up like this and reflected in the water makes a great picture especially since they all have similar shades of blue and silver. No more transport for these poor cars.
