Aye, though ironically today’s godly in America are by and large not descended from the fervent religious refugees of the colonial era. The Pilgrims, Puritans, and Quakers all settled in the north, while the Anglicans settled in the south, and the Scotch-Irish Presbyterians in the hill country.
