I thank you for that and wish, in return, that the herons and egrets continue to pose for you, and your lens stay true. And that 2016 is kind to you.
There is a milestone to be reached in this coming year. After running for three years, Feast Fables comes to an end. (The story, not the blog). It’s going to be neck-and-neck, which finishes first, FF or Alsalda. And then . . .? Stay tuned.

My, oh, my, it’s been that long for FF. I remember having to go back to the start and reading through from the beginning after missing months and losing track. After FF and Alsalda finish, ’twill be time for the concordance to your universe to be published!

It is my intention to use FF’s blog to write about mythology, in both a particular and a general way. So, yes, I expect I shall do a summing up of the mythological themes in FF, although I think by then you’ll have realised the main one.
There is yet another story in the series, that chronologically follow after Alsalda (by a thousand years or so). It is ready in first draft. But I might hang back on publishing that as yet. There is another (planned, plotted, backstoryed etc, but not actually written) that I’ve been playing with for a long while now. Well, actually since Neve had her talk with the Reverend Doctor. I might work on that first. Although it’s not obviously related to the Asars, it does share a kind of theme and would make a good follow-on from FF. More I am not prepared to say.
