So let me amend . . . .
A PRIORY PROJECT Supplement
Satellites don’t reach to the Highlands of the Sun . . . nor yet to His Indwelling, Julia’s next ‘destination’. So, to help you navigate your way through the story, I give you here the relevant maps.
His Indwelling being north of the Wetlands, I place this first;
despite in PRIORY PROJECT it is visited chronologically later.
I trust you will find these useful.
And you might like to bookmark them for reference
in the story that follows PRIORY PROJECT: Alsalda
Of course, if you care to look on Google Maps, you might find the rivers . . .
but not by these names.
Maps are always good. Oddly enough, while I am not visual about most things, I am about directions.

I am entirely a visual person, though kinetic too when it comes to learning—like: if I can visualise myself doing some new process/skill I’m better able to acquire it.
As to maps—you know they’re my passion. I’m sorry it’s taken so long to deliver this one (or rather, these two). They’re not new maps, but were drawn-up some time ago when I was writing what’s to be PP’s sequel (Alsalda), although I had to remove extraneous information. So, you’ll see them rehashed, later.
If you check out Google Maps you ought to be able to locate the rivers (Kennet, Thames, Avon) but even on satellite view you don’t get any real sense of terrain. And I know that terrain. I’ve spent many holiday walking it!

I am not particularly smart with maps but appreciate the visual. As to modern computer mapping I am particularly fond of the satellite view as the 3d look of actual buildings is so helpful. Blue prints of buildings do not pop up for me either, just flat, flat lines!!

As Brian was saying, some people are visual-based—and some people are addicted to maps: e.g. both Brian and myself. Mine I put down to being Army-trained to map-read (okay, so it was my dad. And I was allowed to pore over all his battle-marked oldies). But I bet you easily grasp verbal directions, a whizz at absorbing the information from lectures, while myself, if it’s not written, in front of me, I’m lost. Unfortunately the almost global brain-ream provided by virus x yrs ago didn’t alter that.
