Julia Cannings: display-designer, newly in post in a Wessex museum in the heart of the rich neolithic landscape (her dream-job).
Fliss Freidman (nee Plessey): physicist newly returned from the States with her American husband and, thanks to a huge court payout, ample funds to support a research project.
What could possibly bring these two women together?
And what is the discovery that threatens to destroy the project?
Moreover, who is the devilish blond shaman with the deep blue eyes?
The Priory Project, Crimsonprose‘s new story (sci-fi/fantasy, rooted in archaeology, threaded with mystery and a touch of romance) begins tomorrow (7th Jan 2015) with The Return. It will post thereafter every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday and Wednesday, eh?

After much consideration, and considering FF goes out on Thursdays, and generally additional pieces go out Saturdays and/or Sundays. I avoided Friday, cos that’s your usual post-day. Doesn’t leave much choice after that, so Tuesdays and Wednesdays it is. Close together, for continuity (I thought),

I thank you for your consideration, though I do not like to think I’m restricting your freedom.

Hardly that. Even I need a day of rest. Besides, though the weekend posts tend to be less planned, more spur of the moment, they still require a certain time to prepare them. Some of the ‘walks talks’ took a couple of days preparation. I’m trying to slip into a routine of Monday thro’ Thursday, fiction, leaving the remainder of the week for research etc.
