      Could well be. I like the image of the spinner for not only does she spin a web that binds us, but she also spins a fantastical tale. I think of a piece of (pagan) Celtic religious art O once saw: Ogma-Sunface, with chains attached to his tongue, leads a string of men, as if they were his prisoners. Tales bind.
