    Angry words already, and it’s only the fourth day!

      Only the fourth day – many families don’t even make it through the 1st day before the fricative expletives begin. High expectations is the problem. Should be happy with their woolly gloves and pencils too young yet to play with the ink.

        Oh, that’s true about the first day. I remember an amusing occasion. My toddler niece was hauling every present up into the rocking chair she was sitting in, and wouldn’t unwrap it until then. So when it came time to unwrap her best and biggest present, it sent her into tears because she couldn’t get it up into the chair!
