Too cute!! Did you dream this up before breakfast? 🙂

No. While washing up the day before. Just another piece of nonsense, I love playing with words.

      • Judy says:

Good to know. I’d feel terrible thinking other people are so creative in the morning when I can hardly get started!! I love your nonsense!

It’s a talent that runs in the family. My father was able to create silly rhymes at the toss of a hat, and still is able though now less often (he’s 93). His mother had one of the first TVs in the village, and would flick her duster around the house singing (off key) the wrong but suitably rhyming words to the latest adverts. My eldest daughter has sort of inherited it. Aged 14, she wrote a song, which a musician friend of mine set to music. It got several airings at local venues. It was punkish, and extremey macabre, but it showed she had the ability to compose rhyming nonsense.

My making this worning was low and slate.
